Raiders of the Tomb at John Hampden Primary School
Ancient Egypt came to life as Year 4 transformed John Hampden School into the Sahara Desert complete with the ancient tombs of Tutankhamen. The children searched the land for Professor Pembroke, followed his clues and deciphered hieroglyphic messages until they found mummified remains of Tutankhamen. Summer School – Year 4
These are some photographs from Year 4’s two weeks at Summer School with Mr. Surman & Mrs. Braybrook. The children wrote recipes for the ‘marshmallow/ fruit kebab skewers’, created them and ate them all up too! They also were listening to the fiction story, ‘There’s a Werewolf in my Tent’. So they created non-fiction posters
Music Bubble Compositions
In the last two weeks of Term 6 a small ‘Music Bubble’ was formed at John Hampden consisting of 6 boys and 6 girls.
