The children had a fantastic day at Pitt Rivers Museum and the Museum of Natural History. The day included, a workshop on bugs and their habitats, where the children were able to hold a live cockroach and had handling experiences with many museum artefacts related to habitats such as taxidermy animals.
They also had the opportunity to become explorers, follow maps and discover new and old things such as the witch in a bottle, a dried toad amulet and the oldest artefact in Pitt Rivers museum.
Thank you to all of the parents who volunteered their help for the day.
