A selection of Year 3 and 4 boys represented both John Hampden Primary School and our Federation School at a primary school football tournament yesterday afternoon. Despite the freezing cold conditions, the boys had a brisk walk down to ASM stadium and then played brilliantly against 4 to 5 other schools. We could not have been prouder of their team spirit, positive attitude and kind nature and as a result of this, both John Hampden teams came second in their groups with the Federation team doing very well too. We were especially impressed by the determination of some children who had never played in a match or even played football before and of the encouragement of the other boys towards these players.
