Day Two
After varied amounts of sleep, we fuelled ourselves for the day with cereal and croissants. The weather was very kind and just perfect for climbing and canoeing. The cavers found out very quickly that the water levels were higher than normal and came back as wet as the canoers who jumped into the canal voluntarily at the end!
The children have certainly pushed themselves today and were absolutely buzzing with excitement over their sausage and mash this evening.
As we write this, they are exploring the site in a night time photo orienteering activity. We are very much hoping this will wear them out and there is a bit more sleep all round tonight.
Activities tomorrow:
Group 1: Canoeing
Group 2: Canoeing
Group 3: Caving
Group 4: High Ropes
Group 5: Caving
