Our Y6 children have spent the day learning even more about The Great War, through their workshop day run by History Into Schools. The day was packed full of interactive sessions where children were given the opportunity to learn more about how the war started, what training in the army would have been like, life at home, propaganda, first aid and lots more! They got to make trench biscuits and handle lots of real artefacts from the time. What a brilliant, engaging and fun day! A huge thank you to Richard from History Into Schools for a fantastic day and to the children for their enthusiasm for all the activities!
