Swimmers from across Year 6 competed in a swimming gala at Rye St Anthony School in Headington. We were lucky to be using an outdoor pool in the sweltering heat, amid the beautiful school grounds. Our children were absolutely fantastic in the effort and determination they put into their races and in the huge amounts of support they gave each other. Our staff were incredibly proud of everyone who took part. Our Girls’ Team finished in 2nd place and our two Boys’ Teams finished in 1st and 2nd, so it was a fantastic result for everyone! And to finish off the brilliant afternoon of sport, Rye St Anthony provided some delicious sandwiches and cakes for after the gala! Well done, Team JHS!
