On Wednesday 8th June, Year 3 and 4 held an interschool football tournament as our tournament at Tetsworth was unfortunately cancelled. For some, it was an opportunity to develop their skills from their club football at the weekends, whereas others were completely new to the sport. The standard played was excellent and all girls showed fantastic control on the ball and great ball striking skills. We had 3 mixed Year 3 and 4 teams whereby we all played each other, before a grand final. We ended the session with a penalty shootout. Mrs Warner thoroughly enjoyed the afternoon and the girls were great ambassadors for the sport.
