The Year 6 children have been incredibly lucky to have been given a lesson on storyboarding by one of our parents, Giles Asbury. Giles is a storyboard artist who has worked on many films such as Fantastic Beasts, James Bond – No Time to Die and X-Men (and so many more). He kindly came in to talk to the children about his work showing us examples of the storyboards he had created and explained how these pictures were used to help with the development of the film being produced.
The children were fascinated and enthused by this and were inspired to draw their own fantastic beast creatures. Having the children work with Giles and using his expertise and advice, we were able to get wonderful work from our class.
