A fabulous time was had by all on Year 4’s on Chocolate Day, a day where we bend the rules and have chocolate for breakfast, lunch and tea (healthy eating returns the next day, don’t worry!).
All the children dressed up and we had the full cast of Charlie and the Chocolate factory represented, complete with Oompah Loompahs and even a child sized Wonka Bar!
We started the day with Cadbury colouring, a homemade chocolate to enjoy and strawberries and marshmallows dipped in a chocolate fountain. Delicious!
We wowed each other on the catwalk with our amazing costumes and then we watched films about Cadbury World and chocolate tempering. Then we had a go ourselves, writing our names in melted chocolate and ensuring it would be shiny and snappable through our endeavours.
After that, we enjoyed a hot chocolate with cream and marshmallows and a piece of homemade chocolate fudge whilst watching Charlie and the Chocolate Factory, with a fly by visit from Santa to add to the excitement of the day. What a sugar high!
