KS2 Children were participated in an assembly show which involved lots of audience participation from pupils and staff alike. There was plenty of French vocabulary used, from a French directions rap song, to Pierre the main actor balancing on a unicycle! Food, the weather, numbers, time, colours, gender, parts of the body, directions, pets, animals, the countryside, members of family, rooms of the house. There was lots of interaction with the actor and the audience and plenty of great French vocabulary memory recall. In summary, it was a fun and memorable experience overall for the school and a great opportunity to recap everyone’s pre-existing French knowledge.
