John Hampden Runs Away to the Circus
This year John Hampden has been carried away with the lure of the bright lights and the smell of grease paint in our very own big top!
After an evening of Artsweek prep where staff and parents got the ball rolling, the first day saw the tent go up and be filled with a troupe of circus performers. Year 4 were the first in the hall and set the scene with blocks of background colour on the backdrop and a multitude of models, paintings and art activities!
In the classrooms art was all around us, everyone getting stuck in to our circus theme.
