Our cross country squad from across KS2 did an incredible job at the cross country event at Oxford Spires Academy on Tuesday. The theme of the event was ‘determination’ and our children showed it in abundance!
Each and every one of our children gave it their all during their races and it filled us with pride seeing their effort, determination and support for each other throughout the event. A huge WELL DONE to everyone who took part!
There were separate races for 3/4 boys, 3/4 girls, 5/6 boys and 5/6 girls, with around 100 runners in each race. Some of our incredible individual races included:

Caitlin (Y5) – 1st
Molly (Y6) – 10th
Al (Y5) – 5th
Leo (Y6) – 7th
Elliot (Y5) – 9th

3/4 Girls – 6th
3/4 Boys – 1st
5/6 Girls – 1st
5/6 Boys – 2nd
Which means that our 3/4 Boys and both Y5/6 teams qualify for the county finals in December! Well done JHS!
