Pupils from across Keys Stages One and Two have taken part in their annual Sports Day! The morning started with KS2 competing in their houses in Elms Park, before the competition moved into the school grounds for the KS1 event. The children took part in a whole range of different races, including sprinting, skipping, egg & spoon, obstacle and hurdles. Some of our older children even competed in 200m, 400m and 800m races and the KS2 events culminated in the annual House Relay, with teams including children from each year group across the key stage.
A huge well done to all the children who took part and to the families and friends that cheered the children on at both events. Our Year 6 Sports Ambassadors also did a great job of helping to run the events – well done and thank you! A great morning of competitive sport at John Hampden!
