Pupils in Year 6 have had a fantastic and magical day at the Warner Bros. Studio Tour in Watford, exploring the making of Harry Potter! To say they were excited is an understatement! Throughout the day, the children were able to fly a broomstick in the green-screen area, discover how the props, costumes and sets were created, experience riding on the Hogwarts Express, walk through the Forbidden Forest and stroll up Diagon Alley, as well as walk around the Great Hall and experience the new and incredible Gringotts Bank. There really was so much to see and do – many of the children said they can’t wait to go back for another visit with their families!
The pupils (and staff!) had an incredible day and it was such a pleasure to see the children enjoying being there – the perfect end to conclude our Harry Potter topic (and to celebrate the end of SATs week!). Thank you to all the children for being so brilliant to take on the trip!
