As part of our Sports Week, John Hampden pupils took part in their annual Sports Day events across KS1, KS2 and Foundation Stage. All children represented their school houses in the events on their sports day, as well as in field events within year groups in Key Stage Two. After combining all of the results for everyone’s events, Lancelot became the 2017-18 Sports Day Champions – congratulations to them and to everyone who competed in all of the events!
KS2 children also took part in a House Relay event after Sports Day. Teams were made up of children from across all four year groups and the event took place over in Elms Park. Boys and Girl’s raced separately and after totting-up the scores from both events, Galahad and Gawain were joint winners – well done to both teams for their fantastic effort!
